My stay at Harbour Rocks Hotel was nice, largely due to its fantastic location and the charming character of the building. However, there were a few drawbacks, particularly with the lack of a lift and some maintenance issues that detracted from the overall experience. The friendly staff certainly helped balance things out, but I encountered noise issues that couldn't be overlooked.

Rooms

The Heritage Queen Room had character, but it felt quite dated with minimal amenities. I found the lighting for makeup application to be poor, and the room had some maintenance issues, such as chipped paint and stained carpets. Additionally, the air conditioning was loud, which disrupted my sleep.
Service
7.0
The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, always greeting me with a smile and eager to help. However, my experience was tainted by unexpected charges for meals that were supposed to be complimentary, which the staff did address but still left a bad impression.
Location

The location is absolutely lovely, just a short walk from Circular Quay, the Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge. I enjoyed strolling through the area filled with shops and restaurants, and the picturesque laneways provided a wonderful atmosphere for exploring.
Dining

I found the dining options quite appealing. The breakfast was substantial and tasty, though the service could be slow during peak hours. I appreciated the cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, giving it a charming vibe.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel had basic facilities like room service and housekeeping, the absence of a lift was a significant drawback. There were also a lot of stairs to navigate, which could be challenging for guests with mobility issues. Furthermore, the construction noise from neighboring buildings was disruptive.

My stay at the Harbour Rocks Hotel was mostly enjoyable, with its unique boutique charm and prime location being standout features. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. However, the room could use some updates and lacked proper ventilation, which made it a bit stuffy at times. Overall, I would certainly consider rebooking due to its good atmosphere and excellent proximity to Sydney's major attractions.

I had a pleasant two-night stay at Harbour Rocks. the heritage charm really stood out. Though the room was clean and cozy, it did miss some essentials like a mini-bar. The dining experience was a highlight, especially the Middle Eastern fusion restaurant. However, the service could use some refinement as I faced a few delays during check-in.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Harbour Rocks. The location near Circular Quay and the Opera House was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. However, the room was smaller than expected and the lack of an elevator made carrying luggage quite a chore. The dining experience did not meet my expectations, particularly the breakfast, which was a bit below par.
